hi this is Charles Hoskinson broadcasting live from warm sunny Colorado always warm always sunny always Colorado except for the times it's not so just real brief update we have successfully done the hard work Combinator we haven't published the video all last week we spent testing a lot of dumb bugs a lot of little things we had to clean up but overall actually quite nice people worked the weekend to get a few things resolved and I just wanted to give you guys basically a tentative roadmap of how we're gonna get to the twenty ninth a lot of things have to happen between now and then so tomorrow we have three things coming out tomorrow Emily Shelley test net coming out and that test Nets probably tests that we're going to use for the entire duration of July we may Reese pin it one more time but it looks like that's going to be a stable throughout July asked integration network so it's what exchanges and other people are going to use to integrate against to verify other stuff is working correctly we should also have the balance check coming out tomorrow for ITN rewards so if you participated in the ITN and you got rewards there'll be a variant to Dedalus that shipped and you can restore your wallet and verify that your rewards balances look right this is your opportunity to do that and then finally we have the main neck and 'added note coming out and basically that's the node that can run on main net if you wanted to and that node will allow people to survive the hard fork that's coming on the 29th that's the first node in its command line note the following week we're going to with the power of Daedalus flight bundle that with updates performance improvements and a few extra features here and there weekly basis on the seventh the fourteenth probably the 21st as well basically a parallel client that will run alongside the Biron tree boat boot version of Daedalus and the flight candidate will basically have all the Shelley functionality in it so we'll burn that in for two weeks the week of the seventh and the week of the 14th and then it looks like what we'll do is trigger the update protocol on the 21st to tell everybody who has a Dedalus wallet they need to upgrade to the new version of Daedalus which has the fire ant and shelli functionality and that'll occur on the 21st and then we'll do the hard fork the following week on the 29th staying on schedule if you haven't upgraded by that time period then basically your wallet will go inert and I'll say hey you need upgrade go upgrade then your wallet works again but on that it's pretty pretty easy peasy so just to recap tomorrow we have the balance check the main account at node and the Shelly test Net upgrade then the following week we'll have Daedalus flight get involved and flight will run parallel with the main net and that'll have all the Shelly stuff in it but it'll be grayed out because it's not turned on until after the hard fork happens and then we'll run flight for two weeks and then on the 21st will initiate the update so all that flight stuff will converge into the main net Daedalus and on the 21st you can upgrade your Daedalus and basically anybody who doesn't do that the wallet will stop working your funds are safe everything's faced say if you'll just get a screen that says hey you need to upgrade so download the upgrade and install it and then the Hart fork is on the 29th according to schedule no disruption there ITM rewards will be ported over I still believe August 3rd and then staking begins on the 18th as the deep parameter begins to decrement so everything is on everything's on schedule it's been a very busy month June especially given that we've had many concerns this month from the summit to the IT and other things but we got it all done everybody worked really hard I'm really proud of everyone and it's just exciting to watch that video that I tweeted today with Phil Conte and the main net heart for the Combinator is the single most complicated piece of software we've written as an organization and it was not an easy thing to do so the fact that that worked and it worked the way we expected it to is a testimony to the great work that in great testing and simulations that were done by that team so we're super excited about that summit still on schedule July 2nd to 3rd I'm doing as many interviews as I can fit into my schedule and get out as quickly as we can and we're pretty happy about that and very soon Cardno is going to be a dynamic and decentralized system it's long overdue and we're pretty excited about that a lot of announcements for the summit so please do attend I will be talking about all kinds of things not just jelly things but things post Shelly and I think you guys are going to be pretty happy about that and starting tomorrow you get the test and see if your ITN rewards have poured it properly and play around the Shelly test net and then next week you please play around with flight make sure that looks good and everything's working well and you know we'll just keep iterating that and 21st that's your first opportunity to upgrade your main NIC Daedalus to to the Shelly era congratulations
