okay let's see if we're live connect streaming software come on now are we live with this stuff record broadcast going live there well then where are we going live the live control room is it here are we live here okay that should be a feed all righty layout build the scene all that stuff looks good and the destination looks good what's this frame rate 1080 12 by 80 720 and we've been live but it's not showing that ah can you guys see me can you hear me ah loud and clear yeah my apologies i've been trying different streaming software yeah the youtube interface is so terrible the native one that if you ever lose the connection you and and i was confused because there was an old live stream that never launched and the software was trying to connect to both at the same time but anyway if you ever use the software if you lose the stream there's no way to go back into it without some sort of streaming software which is weird all right my apologies i just got back from vacation i was in lake tahoe lovely lovely tahoe for the weekend which was fun and exciting i can't see your backstage chat that makes me sad and i was lake tahoe for just a few days enjoying it trying to there were huge amounts of fires and all kinds of chicanery and bad stuff uh and all the forests were closed so the best i could do was sit and read books all weekend which was somewhat therapeutic the community noticed i was getting a little tired a little worn down and they said you need a break and i said all right fine i'll go somewhere beautiful and i went to the one place where it was raining ash and everything is shut down and apparently master and full force there to the extent where everything is quarantined uh the rooms don't even have uh proper service you uh they won't clean your room for you until after you check out so it was an interesting experience lake tahoe i did enjoy it though it was a lot of fun there's a lot of beautiful trees there and people are quite nice okay i just wanted to make a really quick update i let you guys know a few things one bit tricks so i was going to give you a friday update but there was nothing to report we fixed a lot of stuff and then they requested one more thing which was a checkpointing feature and that has been finished and it's in the tip of master as of today so everything that bittrex needs should be in the master branch and now the ball's in their court and we'll see if it passes their internal qa so as soon as i know something about that i'll let you guys know but i think we've resolved all of the performance issues and i think we've resolved all of the relevant operational issues that are preventing uh that software from running that's the best understanding i have from my teams just coming back i read the report this morning and asked some questions right before i got on the plane from california colorado but um it looks like we're basically a go there so we'll see what happens and as soon as i know some more i'll report it but i don't believe there's anything more that the wallet back-end team has to patch or enhance uh from our perspective and our side that said they're going to have to test the software we've given them and then they'll let us know if they've discovered something that's problematic okay so that's the best update i can give you tonight at 9 29 p.m with this new streaming software on bittrex the other side is is um the community roadmap in the governance video promised everybody i would go ahead and give them a governance video either today or tomorrow so i'm gonna go ahead and do a screencast at the office tomorrow and i'll discuss a lot about voting voltaire catalyst all this stuff and uh give some of my perspective on uh what is accomplishable in a reasonable time horizon if the goal is to get community consent i'll also talk a little bit about rick's roadmap that he's put together with the community um i haven't read through the latest version of it yet but i'll read that tomorrow i have a copy of it i just haven't had a chance to look at the latest version of it and i looked at it last week before i went on vacation to tahoe so i'm not going to comment on a evolving document until i've had a chance to read the latest version of that evolving document so look for that as well tomorrow um i'll probably resume normal amas a little bit i have been talking to rod about improving the amas and using better software so i'm looking at things like wirecast and stage 10 studios this is the current one that i'm looking at right now and stream yard and so forth so i'll let you guys know when i've bit mexis to listing cardano i i didn't hear about that i'll i'll check it tonight but i didn't hear about anything going on there that wouldn't make any sense at all in fact it's quite the opposite people have been listing us like bitfinex for example and others um anyway uh no more to report but i just wanted to make a brief update uh to you guys about bittrex and about the governance uh screencast and both of those will come out tomorrow i'll let you guys know about bittrex as soon as i get more information my understanding is they needed a checkpointing feature to improve from performance and then also they needed to roll in all the performance improvements that we had made last week that's all sitting the tip of master and if they have any specific requests of course we'll service those requests so we're at their service and if they need something we'll give it to them otherwise our qa people are just waiting for feedback so quick quick update
