Hi, this is Charles Hoskinson broadcasting live from warm, sunny Colorado. Today is March 8th, 2024, and I'm making a quick video to ask for your help.
As you may or may not know, I own a construction company and a clinic. The construction company is based in Gillette, Wyoming, and it is building up my medical clinic, which is currently about 10,000 square feet. We're expanding to about 40,000 square feet in Gillette, Wyoming. I'm a big fan of art, and from time to time, we do really cool and interesting things. One of the projects we've decided to undertake is constructing a reproduction of an Infinity Room inside the clinic.
You might be wondering, "What is an Infinity Room?" Let me share my screen here. An Infinity Room is something that was created by Yayoi Kusama, a 94-year-old Japanese national who is famous for making some very bizarre and incredibly beautiful art. An Infinity Room is essentially a room where all the surfaces are covered with mirrors and have some rather exotic lighting. They've found their way across the United States and the rest of the world; for example, there's one in Los Angeles.
What we're considering doing is building one at the clinic. We have engineers—MEP and civil—and an architect, along with great general contractors. However, we are missing one skill domain that would make this process much easier: we need someone with experience in optical engineering and the physics of mirrors. We've spent the last two weeks looking around, talking to specialized recruiters, and searching on Upwork, but we can't seem to find a qualified and interesting person.
I thought, with my large community, there must be at least one or two people who either know someone or are that person. So, we created a dedicated email address: [email protected]. If you know somebody with these skills or would like to apply, we'll be hiring a contractor to join our team. We can negotiate rates and fees, and you would be part of the design team working with our architect and engineering team, as well as our general contractor, to conceive and design the best Infinity Room ever constructed. It will be a permanent art piece inside the clinic, alongside some of the other installations we've created. We currently have over 6,500 patients and are growing to at least 10,000 to 12,000 patients at the clinic. It's quickly becoming one of the best primary care facilities in all of Wyoming, with a lot of traffic and visits every year. It's also the nerve center for our anti-aging research.

This is just a quick call to action. I'm a bit desperate on this one. I've been able to recruit some of the best scientists in the world; I hang out with Nobel laureates and all kinds of interesting people. However, for some reason, we just can't break through in this particular domain of optics and mirrors. We have everyone else we need to build pretty much anything, but we lack the physics and optical expertise.
