hey everyone Charles hoskinson here live from warm sunny Colorado always warm Always Sunny sometimes Colorado it is November 20th 2020 it's been a long year a lot of stuff going on Thanksgiving is next week uh we're working as close up to the holidays as we can and uh we got a lot of things coming at the end of November early December we'll fix a day um I wanted it to be November 30th but I think uh maybe a day or after we're going to have the product update and it looks like we're going to do two product updates for cardano so one of them is going to be the normal product update and then uh about a week or so later on the anniversary of aah love lace uh her birthday we're going to do an endof year update where we kind of roll out uh everything uh that we accomplished this year from January to December and uh have a little bit of a conversation about where we're going what we're doing keep hiring like crazy brought some new people on board get some new product people more Engineers more relationships uh new vendors coming on and we still have some good announcements that we've been saving for the uh for the end of the year so I think you guys are really going to enjoy that a few strategic Investments as well uh We've uh tightened our collaboration with uh Mutual knowledge systems in the glow framework and uh we'll certainly talk a lot more about that and we've also uh been uh for the last month and a half working very closely with runtime verification uh we're in full development mode for K and yella and a huge amount has uh been underway and there's a lot to discuss there and they're going to be coming on at the product update at the end of uh November early December and talk a bit about where K is going where yell is going and uh what we intend on doing with that technological platform a lot of dap stuff a lot of commercial projects some prism related things hopefully we'll have some Ethiopia related news at the uh end of the month uh we were actually planning on announcing something a little earlier but the Civil War there is causing some issues there's uh some problems in the Northern parts of the country and uh you know we're just trying really hard to make sure that everything stays on schedule but we think that uh that should not disrupt things too much uh our operations are still going strong it's just commercial negotiations tend to slow down when government priorities switch uh but there's something very big Brewing there that I'm very hopeful we can announce soon uh Georgia is not disrupted at all that's uh looking good Mongolia is looking good a lot of cool stuff uh running through the pipe and the commercial division still keeps chipping away at stuff so uh hopefully we're going to be able to finish this year very strong it's been an incredibly tough year for everybody uh the whole world shut down yet somehow we showed up every day we keep releasing like crazy every two weeks we tend to cut a release for something uh and uh towards the end of the month we should have full Hardware support this is a treaser I've been playing around with it on the uh Deus wallet it's uh pretty amazing to see what those guys have accomplished there and we should have full Hardware wallet support soon uh there's going to be a treaser firmware update coming I believe early December and The Ledger update should happen sometime either December January with a bunch of new features and functionality and uh for hybrid wallets and partial wallets uh partial delegation that's going to be coming in uh q1 of next year but uh firmware for some of the delegation staking stuff is coming uh very soon on treaser and Ledger and we've been playing around with that on both the command line as well as uh the Deus interface so uh look for these things and uh a lot of little things like multisig and other components are coming uh we have hard Fork event coming hfc event is coming I believe first week of um uh first week of December and we've been coordinating with our exchange partner on uh on that uh and the uh hfc events dealing with token locking and some of the Goen infrastructures the first of the three Goen related um hfc events the second one is anticipated sometime during February and then we'll announce the dates for the uh third one which will bring full plutus support the second one brings full multi asset support uh token locking is related to uh vote registration so right now uh for fun to with catalyst we do token locking uh through a different means uh but it'll be formalized and supported on the cardano main net uh as of December and basically what it means is you lock your tokens for a period of time that registers them and then you can use those registration uh credentials to basically vote uh for future funds so fund three will be the first fund uh to uh have token locking involved for voter registration we should also for fund three uh have the voting Center fully constructed in Deus at the moment the voting Center is currently a cell phone app uh and uh we're going to have both the cell phone app and we're going to have um Deus and hopefully Roy support for fun three and we'll be making some uh announcements about fun three and date and time and these things scope scale and challenge problems and so forth likely at the product update show at uh towards the end of the month so uh finishing strong uh one more hfc event uh at the uh at the end of the year here um probably one or two more detalus updates uh lot of little things like firmware updates coming a lot of Note updates and wallet backend updates that are happening exchanges uh have been um working with us much more closely on this one and uh there shouldn't be any disruption of services uh when that happens so when we go through the hfc event no wallets should go down or if they do go down it'll be like a day instead of weeks and weeks and weeks for certain wallets uh we also actually uh went through a whole retrospective with certain exchanges like bitrix to kind of identify how we can work better together to make sure that there were no service disruptions and so for so far those uh relationships been very very good lots of Goen related news uh but I'm going to reserve all that news for uh the end of the month and I think you guys are going to be pleasantly surprised about some stuff I know I am and I'm very happy to be working with all our partners we actually are developing uh many different program platforms at the same time so you've already heard a lot about Marlo uh you'll be hearing more and more about plutus especially in quarter 1 of next year and uh towards the end of the month you're going to hear a lot more about glow and you're going to hear a lot more about K and yella and all the things that uh you can do with those platforms so if you're a developer you're going to have many options and one of the things we're going to do is start aligning the Catalyst funds with Goen adoption now that programming languages are becoming available Dev infrastructure is become available uh funding is going to start flowing very rapidly from uh Catalyst to start financing the development of applications on cardo so fund three and Beyond will be very Goen focused and uh continue maintaining that month after month uh fund after fund uh as uh people come up with cool and interesting ideas so just wanted to give you guys a brief update you know next week is Thanksgiving and so there'll be a little bit of operational disruption there and Christmas unfortunately creates an enormous operation ational disruption uh so the the last two weeks of December will be uh much much lighter weeks we'll be at about a quarter staff for most of our time there and next week um all of our American Personnel obviously are disrupted uh but uh we've planned for this in all of our project plans and our product rollout plans and so uh these should not disrupt the hard for combinator event and these should not disrupt the firmware updates and these should not disrupt um any of the uh rolling out go plans so I just wanted to make a quick video to let you guys know some stuff is coming and that we'll tweet out the dates for the product update show and the dates for the anniversary show uh which will contain the uh yearly recap of all the cool Incredible things that we've accomplished and I'm really looking forward to next year quarter 1 is going to be a crazy crazy quarter enormous amount of stuff is going to get done uh a lot of new things are getting started and a lot of old things are concluding uh and uh really can forward all the pieces pulling together so Go's working its way through uh first of the three Goen hard Forks coming uh and uh we'll get all that done uh side chains are going to come too we'll have a lot more to say about that soon and uh we'll also even have a Hydra update for you guys on at the end of November some really cool science stuff and of course these uh little devices are coming along quite well too and I'm really looking forward to hybrid wallets I think you guys are going to like that a lot and and there's some prism news too a lot of identity management stuff and ID center stuff that's coming along so quick update very brief um and I wanted to make one before Thanksgiving because
