casting live from warm sunny Colorado always warm Always Sunny sometimes Colorado so yet again we're here I did an interview this morning with the legendary Rick McCracken I and uh we talked a little bit about coronavirus and yet again we're back on this incredibly political issue and I'm gonna make another video about it because this is the issue of our time and it is something that that continues to cause profound damage and hardship and harm to the world I some people are running around saying I have anti-mask viewpoints I got one right here wear it every day everywhere I go I'm a goal post guy okay I ask for numbers I asked for goal posts I asked for accountability and I'm not going to be silenced on this particular issue and if you think it's a problematic for me discussing this talking about this my life is dominating controlled by it as is yours how many people can be at a restaurant where I can go where I can travel very soon we have vaccine passports coming based on who gets those and how those work your freedom of movement will be greatly restricted so here's the deal there is no plan in the world right now for how to vaccinate over 3 billion people no one's got one there's some efforts here and there but for the most part billions of people in the world will not get vaccinated this year in the developing world and coronavirus is going to spread like wildfire through those people and it's going to mutate as viruses do and the more it mutates eventually one of those mutations because this is what happens with viruses we'll escape the vaccines we currently have because there's also no plan for genomic surveillance we won't even know about that escape until weeks or months after it's occurred okay so I am told by my CDC my government that error person is fully vaccinated nothing changes for them even though the current people vaccinated are immune to the strains we saw the variants we saw in 2020 in 2029 and 2019. and it looks like they're also good for this africavarian in the UK variable how do we know that because that's the science that the Israeli vaccine data is telling us and over half the entire population of Israel at this moment are vaccinated a large percentage of those over the age of 70 in the United States are vaccinated if you look at the nursing home data that we're getting it's very positive Okay so people aren't spreading it so it's showing that they do exhibit sterilizing immunity people aren't getting it post-vaccination and we're told nothing changes because we have to wait for herd immunity but there's no plan to vaccinate the rest of the world so we will never get hurt immunity through vaccination and there will be strains that escape the vaccines and they will return year by year by year until we vaccinate the rest of the world if you connect the dots and you think about it this will never end this will never end ever until that gets done if the goal post is 70 80 90 of the world being vaccinated there's no plan to do it there's no one doing it it will never end so at what point do we speak out against this at what point do we demand different goal posts because if that is the goal post we're here forever that's that's just the way it is I'm also deeply disturbed by the anti-science that the trust of science people are pushing I made a statement today about the NBA so let me get this straight if people are playing basketball games they're literally touching each other they're touching the same ball they're sweating and coughing and breathing on each other all over because that's the game of basketball but then when they go back to the sidelines after doing that they have to put on a mask and that's science we're trusting the science there that means something negative covet tests don't mean anything still treat everybody as they're infected don't you understand this is not about science anymore it's about control it's about convincing a society to fear each other I see elderly people who are vaccinated they don't want to be around younger people they don't want to be around anybody because they're afraid despite the fact that they are vaccinated that they will contract Corona and die we're starting to fear each other children are getting [ __ ] up in the head children who have almost no risk whatsoever I laughed at the vaccine study showing that vaccines 100 effective in ages 12 to 16. why because people 12 to 16 look at the CDC data how many of people ages 12 to 16 have died of coronavirus been hospitalized it's a laughably small number and the vast majority of the people in that category had something else going on their immune systems were destroyed from cancer or whatever it doesn't really impact that demographic despite that we look at our schools they're building plastic barriers telling children that they can't dine with each other do you understand how profoundly psychologically traumatizing that is to children and that's the society we are building here the longer this goes on the more we hear each other the more we can't contact each other the more we live with restrictions our movements are restricted our freedom of speech is restricted this is the reality now I'm a science guy you know I used to wear a mask years ago for a job I had eight hours a day it's not a problem for me but I need to be told why and I need to understand those reasons and I need to have clear goal posts of how that ends and when that begins again I'm going to get the vaccine I've been waiting to get a [ __ ] vaccine no thanks to my government they're so incompetent they can't even pre-make Johnson and Johnson vaccines and when they do they get corrupted and then they're so corrupt they won't let the AstraZeneca vaccine here despite the fact that millions of people have already received it and they're scared about blood clots five blood clots when they have millions of people receiving it come on then you look at novovax there's no science at all behind novovax not being approved it's safe and effective according to a faithree clinical trial done in the UK under the same standards as the United States my government for whatever reason wants to wait until the U.S clinical trial finishes to confirm what is already known okay what does that means I have to wait months to get a vaccine as do most of you when we could get it today for policy reasons that are not clear that's there's no science behind any of that and even after we get vaccinated nothing changes nothing goes back to normal still have to wear a mask we still have to social distance because the whole world is not vaccinated but there is zero plan from any politician in your country or my country to vaccinate the entire world so when Corona mutates and escapes the current vaccines then everything's as if Corona's restarted and it's in 2019 all over again that's what we're looking at if that's the goal post and the consequence of this going on and on and on and on and on and on and on is our youth are being permanently changed and we are permanently socially changing the Dynamics of society and people are being indoctrinated to be okay with their freedom of movement being restricted people are being told proof by Authority regardless if the authority is consistent or not is the only thing that matters if a person puts out a lab coat that's the only thing we don't actually need to listen to what they're saying I will remind every single person listening that there are people in the state of Hawaii who got for violating covet curfews sitting alone at night on beaches whereas if those same people walked a few thousand feet to a resort they could hang out densely packed in swimming pools with other people you tell me where is the science in any of this where's the sense in any of this why aren't we doing Mass home testing for people there was a great episode of Lex Friedman's podcast where he has a prominent scientist on who invented a rapid test that's Dirt Cheap the manufacture we we give to people and you can easily test just like people who have keto test strips and know if they're in ketosis or not that's how easy that test is and it's fairly accurate why aren't we doing that because of regulatory reasons there is no science in any of this there's no science in giving people REM desevere the Europeans have clearly demonstrated that there's overwhelming science then the efficacy of vitamin D but we don't give it to people for some apparent reason don't know why now they're telling me I gotta not only wear this but double mask because why not put a mask on your mask for your mask that's the reality we're living in and it will never ever end it's never going to end because the arguments have no goal posts in them do you want people to die trust the science whatever science is we don't even know what science is vaccines don't matter nothing changes after you're vaccinated if there's a drug that's effective if it's very expensive and it's new then let's use it even if it's not effective and if it's older like I've met then let's just totally ignore it or vitamin D let's just totally ignore it even though there's overwhelming clinical evidence and now actual peer review documents coming out showing efficacy I'm tired of this I've been dealing with it for an entire year it's had so many consequences you see all these civil wars that are starting to happen all throughout Africa and other places I'll tell you why they happen because the economies are devastated and why are they devastated because we shut the world down and when you shut the world down guess what happens the bottom one-third of the world suffers horribly they starve to death their governments to stabilize Civil Wars happen strong men appear and then they just start murdering people millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of people are going to die this year and have already died last year as a direct consequence of the economic policies that are being pushed through these economic policies have nothing to do with protecting you from coronavirus if they did there are far more effective models in the world for in the poor countries as we've seen for example with Vietnam's triumph over coronavirus and wealthier Nations as we've seen with taiwans and in every case where leaders were adults and responsible they were very clear about goal posts and metrics and social structures to enforce them in the United States they're not Texas is completely open if someone gets on a plane from Texas and lands in Colorado the social policies of Texas are now the social policies of Colorado one person came to the United States and spread coronavirus across our country killing all these people one person spread it to us patient zero one person in Texas can restart the pandemic in Colorado we have no unified policy here so we should just destroy the economy of Colorado because why not it just doesn't make sense it doesn't make sense nothing makes sense 92 percent of the people who die from coronavirus die are over the age of 55. 92 percent that's a CDC statistic so once we vaccinate everybody over the age of 55 or a large percentage of them the mortality rate will collapse it will plummet we know this because we're looking at the Israeli data more than half of the country is vaccinated almost all of the people over the age of 65 were vaccinated like over 75 percent 80 percent and yet what I'm told by my policy makers is this is forever it's never going to go away we'll never give you goal posts for it unless you're playing a game basketball with other people which case you can intimately touch them you don't have to wear you know just just play or any other contact sport okay why not but then the minute you're done you know going back you have put it on you can't meet after the game because I guess you could touch each other during the game but not after the game but trust the science trust science trust the science even though there was no science behind any of this and it's nepotism and Corruption and bureaucracy for medicines that actually are meaningful you tell me why novavax is not approved you tell me you tell me why AstraZeneca is the redheaded step shell I'll tell you on AstraZeneca because it's three and a half bucks per dose 35 dollars for Pfizer yeah go figure how long is it going to take to make booster vaccines for variants no one can tell me that do we have to go through a whole another series of clinical trials or can we do it like we do influenza vaccines no one's told me a clear answer to that been waiting so when will these booster shots arrive and when do we take the booster shots and how long do your antibodies last three months four months five months six months nobody knows no one can give a clear answer about this stuff apparently there's some paper here some here I I see the New York Times say one thing I see Bloomberg say another thing I see one unpeer-reviewed article saying something on the archives I see another saying something else never get a clear answer about any of these things foreign you know this is this is just crazy it's just Madness and I'm just so tired and I think you're tired too you know I'm a reasonable guy I think most people are reasonable about these things uh but there's no science in anything that's happening anymore and it just feels like control and it feels like this is now normal this whole reality where people fear each other children have to not play with each other uh Plexiglas between each other and classrooms and policy is influenced by political access one of my people in my company who's in his 40s was able to get a vaccine down in Texas I for the first stay I'm eligible for a vaccine here in Colorado other states it's going to be another time maybe I can get one maybe I can't get one after I get one who knows what happens I guess there's a vaccine passport maybe there is maybe there isn't maybe the vaccine passport means something in some countries but not other countries it's Madness it's just absolute Madness meanwhile offices we have in the developing world we have to talk to people about plans in case of social arrest and instability because we're worried about the political consequences of this going on long term and we see all these people starving today as we see governments collapsing we see authoritarians taking advantage of these crises to massively increase their power and then we're told it's going to end but then no one ever has the courage to just give simple goal posts this is a disease the human race has dealt with diseases throughout its entire existence and there's been much scarier ones like the black death like smallpox and we will get through this in every case you have to be honest with people if you're over the age of 55 this is going to be a much worse disease than if you're under the age of 16. why is policy treating everybody the same why are we thinking that everybody's the same also this is a global disease and if you're going to admit globalization you have to think about global vaccination if your intent is to remove the disease so why aren't the developing governments making a deal where they will only buy the vaccines if for every dose they buy their country a dose is donated to a poorer Nation because there's no intent to end this that's the conclusion I've come to there's absolutely no intent to end this why haven't we gotten sit down with apple Google Microsoft and Facebook these four companies control media platforms and infrastructure for every single American almost every American and constructed a track and Trace system for Coronavirus with them and create a unified response mechanism for the entire United States Texas if their policy is wrong will reinfect Colorado and we restart the minute a new variant or strain comes that escapes the vaccine and then we're back to ground zero and it's not 2019 all over again and then this this is back and social distancing is back and anything that involves people densely packed in a room is over it has to stop at some point and somebody please just tell me what the [ __ ] goal posts are that's it somebody just please tell me that write it down and sign it if it's 90 vaccinated then at least we know at least we're adults with us and told us it's like a person with cancer and they don't want to tell you you have cancer so they say Billy uh you're just sick but don't worry we're going to do some more tests and it comes back well why am i coughing up blood doctor well don't worry Billy we're going to do some more tests and we'll you know maybe you'll be better next week just tell Billy he's got cancer for God's sake so tell us what the [ __ ] are the goal posts honestly when does this end all comply if they're reasonable but what's happening is no one wants to say anything about it and if you have the audacity to question the inconsistencies and The Logical problems with the things that are going on you're attacked they're called anti-science You're called an anti-mask uh covidiate this is just they just label you certain things I in this rant and all the things I've ever said on this have never once said vaccines are bad I've never once said that Max are in ineffective depends on the mass depends on the circumstance but there is with physical barriers some degree of efficacy this is why doctors wear them okay I've never once said any of those things but what I have said is you have to have consistent policy not 50 policies not 100 policies you can't have a situation where one group of people during a pandemic pretend everything is normal and the other group of people think that the world is coming to an end and they won't even allow children to go see their grandparents in a nursing home who have already been vaccinated when the entire nursing home is vaccinated you can't do that you have to have one policy because we're one Global community and you can't have a situation where you see vaccination is the Milestone when you knowingly let the virus mutate to a point where it escapes it and you have no desire to vaccinate a large group of people and if there is then prove me wrong show the policy show the financial commitment show how these companies are going to go do that why is the defense production act not being used for vaccines why aren't we just going and nationalizing them if we're willing to nationalize the social damage of shedding an entire nation down but we're allowing private companies to make literally hundreds of billions of dollars every [ __ ] year off of our misery and suffering you tell me what's the science behind that it's it's just so infuriating and every time I talk on this I see brainwashed propagandized people oh Charles is just cosplaying a smart math professor or Charles is doing this or Charles is doing that or you know he doesn't know what he's talking about he's anti-science he's anti-mass wake the [ __ ] up I want you if you're really going to write that comment take a moment write your goal posts out write them down numbers case fatality rate uh vaccination rates level of spread whatever the hell your goal posts are and you tell me what is our strategy for the rest of the world are we just going to put walls around all the countries we don't vaccinate what are we going to do and then a vaccine passport comes what else are they going to couple with the vaccine passport you tell me that once that thing is there why don't they use it for people who have HIV why don't we use it for people uh who are not vaccinated against other diseases as well maybe your hepatitis vaccine once we have that why don't we use it uh for your taxes too if you if you have you owe taxes to the IRS or your taxes to the state that you live in why don't we restrict your travel why not there's nothing materially wrong there right we could just do that why don't we just keep adding and adding and adding and adding and adding and adding to that what's to stop them from doing that isn't there a public safety argument that can be made isn't there a social responsibility argument that can be made if you're willing to admit that this is the cross we die on that if covet's so dangerous to every single person even a five-year-old then why can't we argue something else is not dangerous or damaging why not why don't we just go down that road what stops them from doing that is there any Constitutional Amendment that gives them the right not to no there's nothing none of this is strictly speaking constitutional it's just make it up as you go along and at what point are you tired what's your limit what's your threshold what's your red line that you're willing to embrace and go down life is dangerous I've traveled all throughout Africa I've traveled all throughout Asia I've gone to war zones I've been in places and contracted diseases and parasites and other things that have meaningful mortality rates it cause permanent damage if you get unlucky and roll the dice surprised that I'm in as good shape as I am life is dangerous it is not the job of the government to wrap all of us in Nerf it's a job to deal with reasonable threats and provide reasonable defense against reasonable threats and we have that if they say okay for our society 70 vaccination rate that's a goal post I could live with all right then let's talk about how we get there and let's talk about how genomic surveillance is going to work so that we can make sure we can maintain that year by year as with the booster shot but that's not a goal post so far we've gotten none there's no normalcy and I just see no end to this and I see the damage getting worse and worse and I also see the monetary consequences of this my country has already printed seven plus trillion dollars the price of Lumbers doubled our currency is weakening our national economy is weakening I look at my local community and I see how many restaurants and businesses that have gone out of business as a direct consequence of these lockdowns and a direct consequence of the economic downturn caused by this policy the longer this goes on the weaker our money gets the more unhealthy Society gets and then the response is socialism let's just double taxes here triple taxes here have the government nationalize all the factors of production take over entire parts of our economy and Industry because they can just run it and then by the way print more money guys when they print money it doesn't hurt me because I have all kinds of things I can do to being a wealthy guy to protect myself when they print large sums of money it hurts the poor person it hurts the middle class because their money goes down and buying power by 30 40 percent at 50 fast so suddenly rent is more expensive suddenly there's less things they can put in their shopping cart when they go to king supers that's the consequence of what's happening right now the longer this goes on the more of that is going to occur this is the greatest wealth transfer in my lifetime and likely your lifetime it's devastating to our national economy and to the global economy here it puts more people into poverty out in places like Africa South America and Southeast Asia it murders people they literally starve to death don't believe me just Google New York Times coronavirus starvation and look at the articles that come up and what the world food program and the United Nations is saying about acute hunger and the longer this goes on the worse that gets the coronavirus isn't doing that it's not the healthy productive people that grow the crops that tend to do things those people for the most part when they contract this disease don't die and don't get seriously ill what evidence of that check the CDC statistics we look at the data now the elderly they now have a tool to get out of this if you are 75 years old and you've taken both doses of the Pfizer vaccine you have less of a chance of dying from coronavirus than you do influenza that's just a statistical fact so it's not a problem for them anymore they can still potentially contract it although rare but when they do the vast majority do not get hospitalized or die that's just the fact so once that group of society is okay and the other tears of society are not likely going to die you tell me why should we destroy our entire National economy and the global economy for these things at what point do you draw that line and at what point do you say the politicians who refuse to do so are cowards or demagogues all I ask for is give me a number and then let's as a society figure out how to get that number and do nothing but that so that we can all get back to normal but they don't give a number and I'll keep talking about this because I see this as the moment if we're willing to tolerate this and this becomes the normal then more will come and every single thing will each freedom is going to die our movements will be restricted our society is going to be harmed people will grow up fearing each other people will no longer hug each other people will no longer have physical contact with each other people will believe that each other are the enemy are evil or bad it's distorting our view of reality it's distorting how we organize it's distorting how we socialize it's distorting how the world used to work not too long ago it can't go on like this it can't continue like this it's just incredible to me and the inconsistencies are incredible this is literally 1984 with double speak when we're told something is happening for scientific reasons and we can see with our own two eyes the inconsistency of what we're being told if you're telling me you need to social distance and avoid physical contact why are you permitting it in certain circumstances and then in the same literal [ __ ] room the same literal event saying you have to go back to social distancing it makes no sense we have health ministers in Canada saying that you should have sex with a mask on that's a real thing it happened this is what the people who are saying they trust the science listen to us we know what we're talking about even though we change everything month by month by month day by day by day literally have sex with a mask on what do we do with that what do I do with that I don't know I don't know well I'm not going to stop talking about it though you know until eventually I get to platform then they say that uh part of the problems and okay I guess that's how I am um I am going to get a vaccine when a vaccine is available of course I'll continue wearing a mask until the mass mandates are lifted although I'm skeptical if that's even going to happen this year and I hope to God that we get back to normal I'm so tired I'm so fatigued Society is tired and fatigued and I am I keep saying the same thing again seeing the real consequences of this in the developing world people are literally dying this is literally sucking the life out of the world and devastating the Dignity of the world it has to stop and I hope that we can just find a way out of this and I hope that more people start demanding the same things it's not about whether to vaccinate or not vaccinate wear a mask not wear a mask it's just about saying talk to us like adults and ask for benchmarks and goal posts and ask for Clear numbers and clear accountability that's all I ask for and also do understand the inconsistencies when people tell you things wear a mask in a restaurant except for when you're sitting down okay can't be at the bar if we put tables up against the bar then you could be at the bar and you're supposed to keep six feet since but sometimes maybe we'll just not do that and then put your mask on it to go to the bathroom and then maybe or leave it on the bathroom and then some restaurants you have to eat with your mask on and lifting other restaurants you don't have to wear the mask and it's all in the same state the same county it's just too much it really is too much for me anyway that's all I have to say about that I hope this ends soon um April 2nd it's the first day in the state of Colorado that vaccines are supposedly generally available it's not clear to me how to get one yet talking to people trying to figure this out um and maybe I can get vaccinated next week who knows I'll let you know which one I got a lot of novovax I thought that was the safest but that's not going to be available maybe till May maybe till June maybe until July who knows you know maybe I don't know I'm tired until next time
